I spent a wonderful hour and a half last night attending a Kidz Blitz Live event. I’ve known Roger Fields, the brains behind Kidz Blitz, for many years. I’ve enjoyed his fellowship, teaching, and incredible children’s ministry blog.

Last night was my first experience seeing Roger in action with a crowd of kids and their parents. I am beside myself. Roger held a crowd of all ages in the palm of his hand for 90 minutes. The time went so fast, we all wanted more. Through bigger-than-life games and concepts, Roger brilliantly wove the Word of God into an unforgettable game show. The program flowed easily from one segment to another while similtaneously capturing the attention of the youngest preschooler and oldest grandpa. I spent five bucks on a ticket to what I would say was one of the best live seminars on reaching children that I have ever witnessed. If you have not hosted Roger Fields and Kidz Blitz at you church, it’s time to set a date. You, your church, and community will be glad you did.

My hat is off to you Roger. Thank you for faithfully ministering in your unique way these past nineteen years with Kidz Blitz. Yours is the most creative, family-friendly event I’ve seen in a long time.
