What is Kidz Blitz?
Kidz Blitz is a non-profit ministry that conducts live family productions in churches, publishes children’s ministry curriculum, and educates children’s ministry leaders.
What makes Kidz Blitz different?
Kidz Blitz is all about providing whatever it takes to make children’s pastors/directors successful. That includes curriculum, live events, reports and information, music, etc. But it is more. It is the Kidz Blitz experience.
Who is Kidz Blitz?
Roger and Tammie Fields launched Kidz Blitz in 1996. Ken Dovey is the consultant to children’s pastors and a main force behind the creative energy of Kidz Blitz. He, along with the event directors are ordained ministers. Greg Baird directs events on the west coast. Donnie Slade conducts events in the east.
What church denomination is Kidz Blitz affiliated with?
Kidz Blitz is non-denominational and serves over forty mainline denominations. Kidz Blitz employees attend different churches within various denominations. We do not receive support from any denomination.
Why has Kidz Blitz grown so fast?
We’re not sure. Every year has seen substantial growth and we thank God for that.
What inspired Kidz Blitz live?
Roger knew about some Christian events for teenagers and began to explore the idea of a high-energy, family event. Kidz Blitz has evolved over the years into what it is today and continues to change. Some big changes are coming!
What are the long range goals of Kidz Blitz?
We have no specific goals other than to obey God and be faithful to what He has called us to do. We never stop exploring new ideas for impacting the lives of boys and girls. We are currently considering several ideas.
Does Kidz Blitz have teams overseas?
Not yet. There have been many requests. We think that will happen when the time is right.
How does Roger stay so young looking?
Nobody has ever asked that. Roger just made that up!
