I believe in what Jesus did for me…more than what I do for Him.
I believe in the power of His Gospel…more than the power of my sin.
I believe in the grace of God…more than the goodness of me.

Instead of merely changing me, improving me or helping me;
Jesus has rebirthed me, redeemed me and recreated me.
He did not come to make bad people good, but to make dead people alive.
Alive is what I am.

The old me is dead, buried, deceased, departed, expired,
stiff, cold, checked out, kicked the bucket and bought the farm.

I am not better; I am new.
I am not in religion; I am in relationship.
I am not confined; I am free.
I am not striving; I am resting.

Jesus is not about making me better, but making me new.
Jesus is not about reforming me, but replacing me.
Jesus is not about modifying my behavior, but making me faultless.
Jesus is not about giving me values; but giving me life.

He exchanged my life for His life, switched my sin for His righteousness,
replaced my failure with His accomplishment and substituted my weakness for His strength.

My past has vanished, my present is peaceful, my future is sure.
My sin is removed, my transgressions are gone, my failures are removed.

There is no condemnation, no distance, no guilt, no separation, no shame.
I have been bought with a price, redeemed by His blood, freed by His word, sealed by His Spirit,

He has given me life and taken away death,
given me peace and taken away unrest,
given me love and taken away hate,
given me hope and taken away despair,
given me faith and taken away fear.

I am forgiven already,
saved permanently,
loved infinitely,
cherished immeasurably,
sealed eternally,
justified freely,
received openly,
valued immensely,
embraced closely,
accepted unconditionally
and alive forever.

Nothing can separate me from the love of God, the grace of God,
the peace of God, the mercy of God, the kindness of God, the presence of God,

What Jesus did for me is complete, thorough, finished and eternal.
Nothing about it is partial, limited, halfway or incomplete. It was enough.

It’s not about what I do for God;
it’s about what God did for me.
I am a new creation.
